Neonatal Nurse (NICU RN)

- Conduct thorough assessments of neonates, quickly recognize changes in patient conditions, and initiate appropriate interventions to stabilize and improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and pediatric specialists, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Family Support & Education:
- Offer emotional support and education to families, helping them understand their newborn’s condition, treatment plans, and the NICU environment.
- Facilitate parent-infant bonding and provide guidance on care techniques, including feeding, handling, and soothing of neonates.
Accurate Documentation:
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient care, interventions, and responses in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices in neonatal care.
Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated with the latest evidence-based practices and advancements in neonatal nursing through ongoing education and training.
- Mentor and support new nurses and nursing students, fostering a positive and collaborative learning environment.
Work Environment
